The University of New Hampshire’s Jasmine Lyons bested a field of 90 skiers in the Bates Carnival 7.5 freestyle race at Black Mountain of Maine. Lyons crossed the uphill finish line in 20:54.5 to win the gold. Taking the silver medal was Dartmouth’s Ava Thurston with a time of 21:3=25.5. Shea Brams of Middlebury skated across the finish line in 21:58.4 to take third place.
