EVENT: 5km CLASSICAL 15 second interval start
2.5km FREESTYLE Pursuit start
AWARDS: Maine team announcement will be approx. 3:00 pm in the Stadium.
COACHES MEETING: Virtual – www.mainehighschoolskiing.com
WAX TESTING: Wax testing allowed on the course. Everyone must ski in the direction of the racecourse.
COURSE Spectators and coaches are welcome out on the side of the course during race.
MOVEMENT: Coaches must be wearing a coach’s bib. All others will require a nordic pass. All skiers must travel in the direction of the race course at all times.
REGISTRATION: Entry fee $27.00 per athlete. ($30 day of race) Two coaches comp passes per team. (Aroostook County athletes have a $2 off discount)

BIB PICK-UP: Bib pick-up will be in race headquarters upon arrival at Black Mountain. Race headquarters opens at 8:45am. Please return unused bibs prior to the start of the race. $50.00 fee charged for any lost bib.
ENTRY DEADLINE: March 3, 2023 by 5 PM. DOB REQUIRED FOR EACH ATHLETE

RESULTS: Copies of the official results will be made available in race headquarters shortly after the race protest period. Results will also be posted on our web site.
MAINE TEAM SELECTION: Maine team will be chosen from the day’s race results: Selection will be made and announced at the awards ceremony. Those named to the team must be prepared to pay the team leader if intending to go.
This is a chance for Skiers in grades 8 to 12 from across the State to come together in a great event with a course and venue prepared to a National level.
