Alpine Giant Slalom

7:15 – 8:00 Alpine Giant Slalom registration at the Main Lodge Ticket Window:  bibs, fees, running orders

8:00 Alpine Coaches and officials meeting in Main Lodge Conference Room (2nd floor)

8:15 Lift opens for athletes

8:30 Gate Keepers meeting in Main Lodge Conference Room (each school provides 1 gate keeper)

8:15 – 9:15 Course Inspection

9:15 Course Closed

9:30 Start of Alpine Giant Slalom Race – 2 runs, Women, Men (one course reset)

                     ***All awards presented immediately after completion of Nordic races on Day 2***

Fees: Alpine:  $22.00/athlete

Make checks payable to Black Mountain of Maine

Bibs: Bibs are provided by Chisholm Ski Club

No racer is allowed on the race course or hill without bib visible.

Run Order: 8-Athlete teams (8 men and 8 women maximum per event, plus athletes that are competing for skimeister and are not part of team).  Send running orders for Alpine to Chisholm Ski Club at This email address is being protected from spambots. Volunteers: Each School must provide one Gate Keeper or Course Worker for the Giant Slalom event.  If a school cannot supply a worker, they must notify Thomas Danylik (418-6104) by noon on Sunday, Feb. 3rd, and pay a $50 fee so a replacement keeper can be scheduled.  Skiing volunteers will be issued a Lift Pass as needed.


Day 2

Titcomb

Date:  Saturday, February 9, 2019

Location:  Titcomb Mountain

Alpine Slalom

7:15 – 8:00 Alpine Slalom registration in Old Ski School Room:  bibs, fees, running orders

8:00 Alpine Coaches and officials meeting in Finish Arena

8:15 Lift opens for athletes

8:30 Gate Keepers meeting in Finish Arena (each school provides 1 gate keeper).

8:15 – 9:00 Course Inspection

9:00 Course Closed

9:15 Start of Alpine Slalom Race – 2 runs, Women, Men (one course reset)


Fees: Alpine:  $22.00/athlete   Make checks payable to:  Mt. Blue Alpine Boosters (Please come with a check that day)

Bibs: Bibs are provided by:  Mt. Blue Ski Boosters.

Tickets: All Athletes, coaches, race staff, volunteers, spectators must have ticket to ride lift or ski on trails.

Run Order: 8-Athlete teams (8 men and 8 women maximum per event, plus athletes that are competing for skimeister and are not part of team).  Please list skimeisters separately. Note - Alpine will race 8, Displace 8 and score 4 (tabulating results quicker).  The old scoring will be used for team scoring (lowest score wins).
